May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and one of the ways that CIS of Chicago provides mental health support is through Mental Health First Aid training!
CIS’s Judith Allen and Shipra Panicker joined WBBM | CBS Chicago recently for a look at the program and how it equips adults to recognize when a child is experiencing a mental health crisis.
“This training provides really concrete steps of, ‘Ok I noticed something is going on, these are the things I can actually do about it,'” Shipra shared.
